It's official.

Two more days until Memorial Day.

Two more days until the start of the tourist season on Cape Cod.

One more week, and it will be Memorial Day.

One more week, and this beach will no longer be empty.

One more week, and this beach will see the young and old, 

swimmers and boaters, 

fishermen and clamdiggers, 

skimboarders and sand-castle-builders,

sunrise watchers and sunset dreamers...

 memory makers all, right on this very beach.

Each spring the herring runs throughout Cape Cod are visited by herring...

and very hungry seagulls.

And this always means that summer is right around the corner!
